Hi, I’m Shannon
I am an art teacher with a master’s degree in K-12 Art Education. I have worked in the classroom predominantly with elementary aged students but I have also worked with adults throughout my career. I have an insatiable curiosity and love to learn and try new art techniques. I also enjoy engaging my students in discussions about art and how they see the world. I believe that artmaking is a natural human drive that everyone should have access to. Through technique building, mindfulness art activities, and artist inspired projects I offer my students the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits that visual art can provide. I am an approachable and enthusiastic teacher who values wonder and curiosity and enjoys the way the visual arts makes these values accessible to everyone!

Our business started with an app, called Wonder Wander, a fun and engaging public art app that allows users to locate, engage with, and learn about artwork and the artist who created it.
We are thrilled to launch Wonder Wander Studio to work directly with students of all ages! We are always trying to find new ways to improve, and we are open to input, questions, and new ideas. Let us know what you'd like to learn using this form and we may design a class just for you :) Thanks!
